Conditions for standconstruction
• The walls of a row stand, corner stand or end stand must be minimum 2.50 metres high.
• If you are allocated a corner stand, two sides of the stand must remain open; in case of an end stand, three sides must remain open.
• If you are allocated an island stand, all sides of the stand must be open as much as possible; realisation of any partitions or storage space must take place in consultation with the organisation (unless such is located in the middle of the stand space).
• Floor carpeting is compulsory. If you wish, this can be ordered via the digital Manual for Exhibitors.
Approval
In case of nonstandard standbuilding or stands larger than 50 m², standbuilding drawings must be submitted for approval to the organisation. These must be in our possession by no later than 6 weeks before start of the exhibition. You can sent it to VNU Exhibitions, for the attention of mrs. K. Herfkens, PO Box 8800, 3503 RV Utrecht-the Netherlands). After receiving approval, you can commence your standbuilding.
Standbuilding support
For all your wishes about for example electricity, furniture, and water connection you can turn to Jaarbeurs Utrecht Expo Point. You will receive a log-in code and a password to order all your facilities at the Digital manual for Exhibitors (www.expopoint.nl).

Builing floors (levels)
Building floors are always higher than 2.50 meter and only permitted if the organisation has been informed by you (floors are not always allowed) and if there is a minimum of 1 meter next to your neighbours. Naast de goedkeuring van de organisatie moet u ook de goedkeuring van de Brandweer en de gemeente Utrecht hebben. Hieronder vindt u desbetreffende adressen:

Obstacles and gutters
Check the floor plan for markings that indicate obstacles in your stand space (e.g., pillars, fire hose reels). Also note the maximum height of the hall (see floor plan). Fire hose reels must be accessible at all times!
Water- and electricity connection
If you require a water- or electricity connection, order one as soon as possible. Water connections are only possible in stands bordering a gutter with drain. If you have any questions, contact Jaarbeurs Utrecht Expo Point: +31 30 – 295 5770.
Insurance during the exhibition
Make sure that you are properly insured. This is something for which you are personally responsible. VNU Exhibitions Europe accepts no responsibility for damage to or theft of property of exhibitors. Advice on this matter can be provided by the Expo Point of Jaarbeurs Utrecht.
